The bare minimum on a child
A first name. No email address, no date of birth, no phone number.

A proof photo is deleted automatically 60 days after the chore is approved.

The database is hosted in the European Union. We do not sell data to anyone, ever.
What people ask us
Is it available on Android?
Not yet. Barake is out on the App Store, and the Android version is being built. The Google Play button on this page goes live the day it ships.
What age is it for?
From the moment a child can read a list and hold a phone — around 7 or 8 — through high school. The account is always created by a parent, and the child joins the family with a code.
What if my teen has no phone?
They join the family from any device, including a parent’s phone for the minute it takes to check a chore off. One phone per child is not required.
How do my children join?
You create the family, the app gives you a code, and each child joins with it. A child account asks for a first name and nothing else.
