Orizon42 Privacy Policy

Last updated: September 11, 2026

Orizon42 publishes apps. This policy covers what we handle as a company, across all of them: this website, the emails we send, and the messages you send us.

Each app also has its own privacy policy, which describes the data inside that app. Where it is more specific than this one, it prevails:

1. Who is responsible for your data

Orizon42, a French limited liability company (SARL) registered under SIREN 989 845 896, with its registered office at 200 rue de la Croix Nivert, 75015 Paris, France.

2. This website

orizon42.com sets no cookies, runs no analytics, and loads nothing from third parties — no ads, no trackers, no external fonts or scripts.

The server that hosts it keeps technical logs, as every web server does: IP address, date and time, page requested, browser type. They are used only to keep the site running and secure, and are kept no longer than 12 months.

The question on the contact page is checked in your browser. Your answer is not sent anywhere.

3. Emails we send

We send email for all our apps from a single account at Brevo, an email service provider.

Service emails

Account confirmation, password reset, receipts, security notices, and notice of a change to an app or to its terms. They are part of providing the app you use, and they stop when you delete your account.

News and announcements

Newsletters, app launches, updates. We send them only if you asked for them, or — where the law allows it — to users of one of our apps, about similar services of ours. Every one of them carries an unsubscribe link, and unsubscribing takes one click.

What we keep

  • Your email address, and your first name if you gave it.
  • Which app or list you are on, and when and how you signed up.
  • Delivery information: sent, delivered, bounced, unsubscribed.

We do not track whether you open our emails or which links you click.

When you unsubscribe, we keep your address on a suppression list, for one purpose only: making sure we do not write to you again.

4. Messages you send us

If you write to us, we use your address and your message to answer you, and we keep the exchange for three years after the last message, in case you follow up.

5. Why we process this data

Purpose Legal basis (GDPR)
Server logs of this website Legitimate interest (operating and securing the site)
Service emails Performance of a contract
News and announcements Your consent — or, for users of our apps, legitimate interest, with an opt-out in every email
Suppression list after you unsubscribe Legitimate interest (respecting your choice)
Answering your messages Legitimate interest

6. Who else sees this data

Provider Role Hosting
Brevo Sending emails, managing contact lists European Union
IONOS Our mailbox — the messages you send us European Union
Hostinger Hosting this website European Union

These providers act on our instructions and may not use your data for their own purposes. Each app's privacy policy lists the providers that app relies on.

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising.

7. How long we keep it

  • Server logs: up to 12 months.
  • Email contacts: as long as you have an account in one of our apps, or stay subscribed to our news.
  • After you unsubscribe or delete your account: removed from our lists within 30 days. Only the suppression list keeps your address.
  • Messages you send us: three years after the last message.

8. Your rights

If you are in the United States

Depending on your state — California, Colorado, Connecticut, Virginia and others grant comparable rights — you may request access to your personal information, its correction, its deletion, and a portable copy. You may also opt out of sale or sharing; we do neither, so there is nothing to opt out of. We will not discriminate against you for exercising any of these rights.

If you are in the European Union or the United Kingdom

You have the right to access, rectify, erase, restrict, and port your data, to object to processing, and to withdraw your consent at any time. You may lodge a complaint with your national data protection authority — in France, the CNIL.

To unsubscribe from our news, use the link at the bottom of any of them. For anything else, reach us through the contact page on our website. We respond within 30 days.

9. International transfers

The providers listed above store this data in the European Union. Where one of them transfers data outside it, the transfer is covered by the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses.

10. Changes

If we change this policy materially, we will tell you by email or in our apps before the change takes effect.

11. The terms that go with this policy

Your use of this website is also governed by our Terms of Use.
